The town of Needham, Massachusetts is a charming New England town that is a suburb of Boston. It has a total of 12.7 square miles, bordered by Wellesley, West Roxbury, Dover, and the town of Westwood, which is the town where Personal Injury Attorney William D. Kickham’s offices are located.

When the city of Boston began its project to fill in the Back Bay area with landfill, the fill was obtained from Needham, from present-day Route 128. With this project, the tidewater flats of the Charles River were filled in. The project was completed in 1882, and was one of the largest land reclamation projects ever, in the course of time, and it more than doubled the size of the original Boston peninsula.

Today, the town of Needham is host to the second-longest running high school football rivalry in the United States, with the annual Thanksgiving football game of Needham and Wellesley high schools.
